Exhibitions and Publications
In September 2018, the Murch Family donated portraits of Ntaria (Hermannsburg) people to the Namatjira Legacy Trust. The portraits were painted between 1934 – 1987. ABC radio, TV and online covered the event and handover of the portraits at the Iltja Ntjarra Gallery in Alice Springs and at Hermannsburg Potters’ Gallery and Workshop. Here is the ABC online story:

Exhibitions
Arthur Murch was a prolific artist who took on diverse commissions and his works were widely exhibited and published. His work was showcased in over 42 solo and 170 group exhibitions between 1927 and 1997.
The Art Gallery of NSW Manuscript Guides No.3 Guide to the Papers of Arthur James Murch has a comprehensive list of exhibitions , both solo and group up till the date of publication in the year 2000. Since 2000, Murch’s work has been exhibited at the National Gallery of Victoria Brave New World exhibition in 2017. In 2016, the Murch Family Art Exhibition was held at Avalon Beach Community Centre (see below).
